The Enola Miller House has been officially added to the Cumberland County Historic Register on February 27, 2019. This however doesn’t prevent the house from being moved to another location. We here at the Historical Society of East Pennsboro are hopeful that this will never happen. Whenever the dust settles and we know the house is in a permanent location, we will affix a plaque to the house recognizing this event. There is a chance the future developers of the property at 200 1st Street Summerdale will move the house across from 1st and Miller Street in Summerdale.
The Longsdorf Family house was the home of Enola Miller for whom the Enola Yard and the town of Enola were named.
The COVID19 event has delayed the development of the Summerdale Property.
